Shelter #3 was formerly the pool house and is our largest shelter at Chippewa Park which can hold up to 100 people. The rental fee includes the use of approximately 12 tables with folding legs, approximately 100 plastic folding chairs, indoor restrooms, a nearby playground area, and a small kitchen area with refrigeration, a wet sink, and an ice machine.

Shelter #3 is available to residents and non-residents starting in 2022, with applicable fees for both.

Resident Rental Rate: $100
Non-Resident Rental Rate: $150
Security Deposit: $100

Note:

When completing your reservation, if you choose the 'Pay Later' Button, you are required to submit payment the to Municipal Building within 2 business days of your reservation being made. If you have not made your payment within 2 business days, your reservation will be canceled and you will have to re-submit your request.

Renters are required to furnish a $100 security deposit in addition to the rental fee. The $100 security deposit must be paid via separate check or cash at least month prior to your shelter reservation. If it determined the shelter was left clean and in good condition, the security deposit will be returned to the renter. It is the responsibility of the renter to pick up the security deposit at the Township Municipal Building after a seven day waiting period. If paid by check, the renter may instruct the township to shred the uncashed $100 check.
